Contrary to what the title of this journal may imply, I'm not moving to FurAffinity. However, I did finally succumb to the frustration of repeated "mature content" pages to finally open a user account there.

My account here on dA will still be the one that I plaster most of my work to, but you might see some stuff on my FA account just to give its gallery some amount of substance and to provide bait to lure prospective readers to my full gallery here.

It's official. I have a pet now. I thought I'd never be the kind of person who'd be able to keep a pet, but I'm gonna try with this li'l guy.

He's an American/Brown cockroach (still haven't identified the species) that's been living in my dorm room, and I caught him fair and square while he was skittering across the floor a couple nights ago. ResLife might not allow pet insects, but I caught this li'l booger fair and square, so TAKE THAT TENNESSEE TECH!!!

I first saw him just a couple nights after I moved into the dorms, and a few days later, I started calling him Thor. Now he's my little pet in a plastic terrarium on my desk.

He totally pwns having a snake or lizard. Best of all, you can't kill roaches. They can survive on just about anything you feed 'em.

And he's so cute, too.

Only way it'd be better was if he were a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. Now those things get big.

So that's my new pet. ^^
