...BETWEEN COKE AND PEPSI
Okay, so dad and I just did an experiment. Dad labeled some drinking glasses, we each poured a bit of Coke and Pepsi into them, we had a control glass with water so we could cleanse our palettes, and we put the two big names to the test.

1. Which was which? Coke? Or Pepsi?
2. Is there a difference between the two?
3. Which did we like better?

Our answers differed.

Dad's answers:
1. Can't tell
2. Not much of one
3. Coke

Mine:
1. Could easily tell
2. Enough to distinguish which was which
3. Pepsi :P

While my dad can't taste a big difference, I am admitting that they are VERY hard to tell apart unless you've drunk enough of either to have memorized their characteristic tastes.

Pepsi is just a little sweeter than Coke. Coke has more of an acidic taste to it. That's the ONLY taste-able difference between them.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to the deviantART April Fool's joke raping the hell out of my journal's footer, it has been removed until further notice. Thank you.

I've noticed that Coke tastes much... stronger. It's like there's more of whatever the flavoring agent is in it. That and it gives a much stronger feeling of "Hocrap, my tooth enamel is melting!" when you drink it. =P

Pepsi is similar, but slightly less potent.

Nice job with your test! =D

My friends just guzzle the stuff, I can rarely tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi. But I have to agree with you that coke is more acidic-tastes like drinking orange juice

Oh. Well anyway I like them both.

(My brother claims to taste the difference and I believe there is one but like you said it's barely enough to tell the difference).

Exactly. But the slightest difference can be the great decider. :P

Wanna know why I like bondage?
You never see dragons that actually WANT to be tied up, caged, chained up, collared, leashed, enslaved, you name it.

And if you've got a few whips, that's even better. n_n
Yep. I'm more akin to Pepsi when I have a choice between the two, but I'll still drink Coke nonetheless. It's not a horribly big enough difference for me to want to ask for something wildly different if a restaurant only carries Coke products and I want a Pepsi.

I like both the same, but I can tell which is which. I did a taste test many years ago in downtown Toronto and I won a free camera. :) Yay for subtle differences!

Half breed and proud of it.
Coke has more carbonation and sugar in it than Pepsi I think.... I prefer Sprite though, cause like :iconfelineflames: Coke AND Pepsi give me that " 'Hocrap, my tooth enamel is melting!' " feeling ^^;

True love is wanting nothing but the purest happiness and utmost joy for a loved one, despite the fact that you may never be a part of it.
